Healthy Ageing Program students present at conference in London, UK

Three students from the Healthy Ageing Program presented their research at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference in London, UK, 16-20 July 2017. The students received a lot of positive feedback and interest from conference attendees.

 

AHAO supports research evidence

Research supported by the Australian Healthy Ageing Organisation was recently accepted for publication in the American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry. The paper, Predictive Factors for Verbal Memory Performance Over Decades of Aging: Data from the Women's Healthy Ageing Project, was also featured in a number of national and international media outlets, including Medscape Medical News, Nine News Melbourne, and the Australian Financial Review.

Healthy Ageing Program students present at Canberra conference

On 8 June 2016, four students from the Healthy Ageing Program presented their research at the Primary Health Care Conference in Canberra, ACT. Their research sparked a lot of interest from conference attendees, who provided a lot of useful feedback for the students.
