DR STEPHEN CAMPBELL

Dr Stephen Campbell MBChB, FRACP is a Consultant Geriatrician and Fellow of the Australia and New Zealand College of Physicians. Dr Campbell has a wealth of experience in both primary and tertiary health care, having worked in both the private and public sector. His experience in Geriatrics and general medicine includes not only hospital and clinic but also community and aged care facilities.

Dr Marissa Lim

Dr Marissa Lim BMedSc, MBBS, MBA is a registered medical practitioner and is the Medical Director of Catori, a Medical Services consulting firm based in Melbourne, Australia. Having trained and worked as an anaesthetist in a number of Victorian hospitals, she developed an interest in medical governance and management. While pursuing an MBA at Monash University, Dr Lim worked as a Fellow in Medical Management which allowed her to develop skills and experience in management, training, human resources, privacy issues, and quality and clinical risk management. Dr Lim then transitioned to roles in the pharmaceutical industry that focused on pharmacovigilance and medical affairs, using her expertise as a medical practitioner to complement her experience in controlling clinical risk, as well as the management of staff. She has since led several research and development programs as part of her roles, and places importance on the input of clinicians. Dr Lim brings her experience in governance, management, and as a medical practitioner to the AHAO board.

DR seema misra-thakur

Dr Seema Misra-Thakur has a MSc and a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Mumbai, India and was an Associate Professor in Biochemistry at The Institute of Science for 26 years. Her research interests are in Biochemistry, Health, Nutrition and the Environment and she has additional skills in human resource development, grant fund management and partnering with national funding agencies and industry. Seema now calls Melbourne home and utilises her extensive skills and experience by supporting her school community; volunteering and mentoring university students in areas of health and nutrition. Seema brings to AHAO her passion for healthy living to achieve healthy ageing; her ability to educate and transfer information to the community and her unique knowledge of her community’s needs.

SUE phillips

Sue Phillips, MPubHlth, is an experienced health technology professional with a strong policy understanding of access and pharmaceutical reimbursement requirements in Australia and New Zealand and is Co-Director of HEARS, a boutique consulting firm based in Melbourne, Australia. Sue has over 18 years of experience in the health industry occupying senior positions in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and undertaking health technology assessments of pharmaceuticals in oncology, haematology, immunology, cardiovascular and infectious diseases. Her special interests lie in public health policy and in the economics of healthy ageing and well-being. Sue is currently completing a PhD in healthy ageing, and brings to AHAO her experience in healthcare access and funding across Australia combined with strong project management and governance skills.

Christine golding, ceo, executive director

Christine Golding has 30 years of experience in the corporate world having worked in large organisations such as Telstra, AXA and Medibank in management and human resources. Christine has demonstrated an ability to partner with executives and general managers to develop and execute organizational strategy with an emphasis on organizational design, change management and talent management. Her passion for life-long learning has resulted in her studying a Master of Ageing at the University of Melbourne. Christine’s objective at AHAO is to promote healthy ageing and to make a difference to people’s quality of life.
